I launched the company after spending 20+ years working in national, regional and global marketing roles for brand leaders in the communications, commercial property, logistics and air express sectors. Following a lengthy immersion in the corporate world I wanted to do something a little different - and so Big Wave was born.
Why the name? I’m certainly not implying that we’re the next big thing in business – though I firmly believe we do good things. Big Wave refers to Big Wave Bay beach in Hong Kong where I was born and raised. We spent a lot of time at Big Wave Bay; it was a place I loved going to and still try to visit whenever I return ‘home’.
